Six Months Vivos mRNA Update

It’s been six months since I started wearing my Vivos mRNA Appliance, so it’s time for another update. The summary is that there doesn’t seem to be any impact on my CPAP pressure yet but my AHI is steadily dropping. I feel a bit less fatigued and don’t often feel sleepy during the day now, but I wouldn’t say I feel great yet. This treatment takes a long time.

For some insane reason, only two Australian DNA Appliance providers are listed in Vivos’s provider locator; and they’re both in Sydney. This leads a lot of people in other states of Australia to contact me in despair because they think they can’t get treatment; yet there are other providers out there so here’s a list of all the ones I’ve heard of. Firstly, Happy New Year to everyone reading this. Let’s hope 2021 is way less shit than 2020 was. I’ve been using my Vivos mRNA Appliance for 3 months now, so here’s another update on my progress. The executive summary is that everything is gong fine and I feel slightly less drowsy during the day, but it’s taking time; which is what I always expected. (more…)

Update on Adhesive Capsulitis

Back in February this year I started experiencing an excruciating pain in my shoulders accompanied with a severely limited range of motion. This made everything from reaching up to get things from a high kitchen cupboard to putting on a T-shirt impossible. I was diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis, the stabbing pain of which I once heard a woman who had experienced both describe as “worse than childbirth”. (more…)
