Ever since I was diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea and learned how devastating interrupted sleep can be to our health, I (and this blog) have focussed on treating it, as I believe it’s the root cause of my chronic fatigue symptoms. While I am making steady progress with my Vivos mRNA appliance, the truth is that it’s a slow process and I’m yet to reap the full rewards. I still have mild flu-like symptoms which flare up when I’m stressed or don’t get a great night’s sleep; which is more common than I would like given that I need to sleep with a CPAP machine and mask strapped to my face every night.

So I still take a general interest in anything that might help alleviate my symptoms, and pay particular attention to other people who have recovered. I figure if I want to get a certain result in life, the best people to listen to are the ones who have already achieved it. There are a couple of YouTube channels with recovery stories that I like, such as Dan Neuffer’s CFS Unravelled channel. I’ve even been doing Daniel Neuffer’s ANS Rewire program a second time while treating my obstructive sleep apnea, because there’s so much health wisdom in the program and I want to do everything I can to get really well again.

Dan recently did an interview with Raelan Agle, who has also recovered from CFS and has her own ME/CFS recovery channel. It’s such a great interview with so much wisdom and healing content that I thought it was worth sharing for anyone with ME/CFS who is still searching for a solution (after you’ve had a polysomnograph to rule out obstructive sleep apnea, of course!):

I have sleep apnea which was getting worse over many years. But began having Chronic Fatigue which started in last 18 months. I think mine was triggered by a vaxxine and bad tooth infection. resolved the tooth issue. Took me a while to figure out it the chronic fatigue is triggered by diet. Mine symptoms match very well to something called leaky gut. So I am eating differently and doing things to repair damage to my gut. Along with some other things I discovered I am able to sleep better now. And having many days with no chronic fatigue at all. Be glad to share more with you if you think it has value to you
