I”ve just finished watching Tom Colquitt’s epic 7 hour video series Stories from the road on the Walk To Wellness,  and wanted to promote it here because it contains so much wisdom about healing chronic illness by addressing airway, breathing and sleep. I wish I’d known about this information years ago when I was desperately ill and looking for answers that weren’t forthcoming from my doctors.

Tom is a dentist who suffered from a litany of chronic health problems for most of his life before identifying the underlying cause as inadequate breathing caused by underdeveloped jaws and retractive orthodontic treatment. After years of study into the nature of his own chronic health problems he discovered Homeoblock, and he is now a passionate advocate for breathing-related education and treatment.

In this video series he uses the metaphor that recovering from chronic illness is like a walk rather than a sprint, and addressing the underlying cause is essential for ultimately attaining wellness. The videos are split into three parts, and I’d recommend taking your time to work through them:
