Just got this question via E-mail from a woman who has had ME since 1986 and thought I’d share my answer with you all:

Knowing how hard it is to be disciplined when one is exhausted, would you recommend Gupta, Dynamic NRS or something else?

My short answer is to focus your energy on getting the life that you want, rather than on recovery from ME per-se. That said:

  • If there are people in your life who treat you in ways you don’t like, even if you think you’ve learned to put up with it: I’d recommend Mickel Therapy.
  • I’ve also heard good things about the ANS Rewire program, and have a lot of trust in the guy who created it. It’s newer than The Gupta Program or DNRS; but I know people who have found all 3 helpful and they’re all relatively cheap compared to years of doctor’s visits.
  • If you had emotionally unavailable parents, experienced bullying as a child, had an otherwise emotionally challenging childhood, are uncomfortable expressing anger cleanly or have experienced other emotional trauma that may still be unresolved: I’d recommend somatic therapy; which is what I do now as a therapist via Skype, check my page on how coaching works learn more.
